Retired 5 years ago from accounting. Been married to Glenn for 33 years, have 6 children (2 his, 2 mine, 2 ours), 10 grandchildren and, 3 dachshunds & 3 chickens. Having fun being a grandma, backpacking, kayaking, playing oboe/English horn in Columbus' Metropolitan Chamber Orchestra and playing in the "pit" for Mt. Vernon's summer musicals. I am part of Kudos, which is an artist co-op here in Mt. Vernon, where I sell my whimsical handcrafted pottery figures. I also go to several juried art festivals around central Ohio.
My best memory of Brookhaven is playing in the concert band and orchestra. I have Mr. Near to thank for that. I can still see him playing his violin in the music hall (sometimes with a student playing tambourine), between classes.
