I'm so grateful for the friendships formed and the memories cherished during our time together at Brookhaven High School. Since then I've lived and worked as both social worker and parish pastor in several states (Georgia, Texas, and California). "When it came to retire I knew that I wanted to come "home" to Ohio.

It's been an interesting journey coming to grips with and ultimately celebrating who I am as a gay man. I'm happily married to Tom Wortham, who retired as Chair of the English Department at UCLA. We live in our own piece of Paradise on Buckeye Lake.

I continue to be involved in "church stuff" at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Granville. I'm a Licking County Master Gardener volunteer in the Pollinator Garden at Dawes Arboretum. Tom and I are big, big supporters of BalletMet, Columbus.
